2011 Volunteer Recognition
We appreciate our volunteers! Every single one. Every single day. And twice a year we get together to remind all of us just how much. In December, we enjoy a sumptuous holiday breakfast that has to be tasted to be believed. In the spring, we celebrate with our annual Volunteer Appreciation event. This year, we celebrated with a “Dessert Tea” on Thursday, April 28, 1:30 - 3:00 p.m., at the Tryon Estates dining room. We enjoyed food and each other’s company as we applauded every volunteer, and recognized those who’ve given above and beyond—including our two “30 Years of Service Volunteers,” Nan Holden & Kathy Wells! It was a special occasion for all of our exceptional volunteers!
